Kidder Township, PA – Chase J. Anderson, 34, Injured When Car Rear-Ends Truck on PA Turnpike

Kidder Township, PA (August 4, 2026) – Chase J. Anderson, 34, of West Deptford, New Jersey, was injured in a two-vehicle crash on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, according to Pennsylvania State Police at the Pocono barracks.

Troopers said the crash happened at 12:20 p.m. on August 4 at mile marker 90.3 in Kidder Township, Carbon County.

Police said Anderson was driving a 2026 Mack Truck southbound when Justin R. Kirkham, 30, of Croydon, driving a 2024 Ford, veered to the right and struck the rear of Anderson’s truck.

Anderson was transported by the Lehighton Ambulance Association to St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, in Franklin Township. Police said the severity of his injuries had not been released.

Police cited Kirkham for the incident.
