Price Township, PA – Four Children Among Six Taken to Hospital After Route 447 Crossover Crash

Price Township, PA (July 14, 2026) – Six people, including four children, were taken to a hospital for evaluation after a car crossed the center line and struck an oncoming vehicle on Route 447 in Price Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Police said the crash happened at about 2:17 p.m. on July 14 at 2970 Route 447. A 2025 Nissan Altima traveling south crossed the double yellow line on a right-hand curve and struck a 2021 Subaru traveling north, according to police.

The Subaru’s driver, the Altima’s driver, and four child passengers riding in the Subaru were all transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono for evaluation. Police said suspected minor injuries were sustained by the drivers and occupants involved, though three of the child passengers were listed as unknown if injured. Pocono Mountain Regional EMS and Marshalls Creek Fire Company responded, and Murray’s Towing handled both vehicles.

Police filed a reckless driving charge against the Altima’s driver for crossing into the oncoming lane.
