Ashland, PA – Three Hurt, Two Airlifted After SUV Collides With Dump Truck

Ashland, PA (August 10, 2026) – The Ashland Fire Department responded to a crash Monday afternoon after an SUV collided with a dump truck on East Centre Street, near the intersection with Lehigh Avenue.

Three people were hurt in the collision. Two of them were flown to a hospital by helicopter, borough Fire Chief Charles Orth said. Their names and conditions were not available.

The Jeep involved was occupied by three people and appeared to have been struck by the dump truck. The impact caved in the Jeep’s rear end. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and East Centre Street was briefly shut down while first responders worked.

Borough police were investigating the crash as of Monday.
